AI‑Supported SDV/AD Vehicle Homologation for End‑to‑End Traceability and Faster Compliance Part 2

This session explains how standardized, authority‑aligned data models enable automated aggregation of simulation, lab, proving ground, and road test evidence—and how this evidence is continuously transformed into real‑time compliance dashboards tailored for different stakeholders.

You will see how continuous homologation monitoring works across the SDV/AD vehicle lifecycle, including OTA updates and re‑homologation cycles, supported by integrations with physical and virtual validation platforms. The webinar also highlights AVL’s unique value proposition: combining a unified compliance layer with a scalable engineering force that integrates seamlessly into OEM toolchains without replacing existing systems and processes.

PART 2 of this webinar series goes deeper into the tooling, automation, and operationalization of AI‑supported SDV/AD homologation. While Part 1 focused on regulations and end‑to‑end traceability (from regulatory paragraphs → requirements → tests → evidence), Part 2 introduces a data‑driven, multi‑pillar validation and evidence framework designed for DCAS (L2+), AD (L4) and SDV‑lifecycle homologation.

Key Learnings:

  • Continuous homologation across the SDV/AD vehicle lifecycle, including OTA updates and efficient re‑homologation cycles.
  • Automated multi‑pillar evidence aggregation (sim → lab → PG → road) with real‑time completeness checks for type approval readiness (e.g., DCAS L2+).
  • AVL’s core differentiator: a standardized, authority‑aligned compliance layer that enables faster type approval integrated seamlessly into existing OEM process and tool landscape leveraging AVL’s engineering expertise for SDV/AD homologation.
